Sino French Water

Sino French Water is a successful partnership between SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT of France and NWS Holdings Limited of Hong Kong. Sino French Water has been active in the China water industry since 1992. Its core businesses can be classified into five areas: water production, full water services, municipal sewage treatment, industrial water treatment services as well as investment holding company. These joint ventures can be found throughout China: from Changtu in the North to Sanya in the South; and from Chongqing in the West to Shanghai in the East.

Our Achievements

 

  • South of the Yangtse River: providing full water services to China’s only world-renowned tropical tourism city – Sanya; operating a 1,000,000 m3 water treatment plant in Zhongshan city,
  • North of the Yangtse River: providing full water services to one of the largest harbours in China – Tianjin Tanggu; Shandong’s Provincial Government holds up our Qingdao joint venture as a successful example of the benefits of introducing foreign investment,
  • Chongqing/West: Delivering full water and municipal sewage treatment services in Northern Chongqing; set up the first sludge drying unit in China. Outlet water quality meets National Grade 1 Discharge Standard,
  • Shanghai Region: Dedicated to providing an integrated water supply and wastewater treatment service to Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP), one of Asia’s largest petrochemical complexes.

 

 

Macao water

The company provides water to more than half a million Macao citizens.


In 1985, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and its partner NWS signed a contract with the Macao government  for the production and distribution of potable water.
